Please find below some updates on Bijaya Natok and Sharodiya Magazine.

Bijaya Natok:

Many of our members showed their interest in participating in Bijaya Natak this year. Thank you very much for your enthusiasm! Due to another surge of Covid-19 and uncertainties in near future, we have decided to showcase this year’s Bijaya Natak completely in virtual way. Those who have not formally sent your names, but would like to participate in Bijaya Natak, please contact any of our Cultural Secretaries by Aug 20, 2021.

Sharodia Magazine:

Though we are not sure about the format of Durga Puja yet, we are committed to publish the Puja Barshiki Magazine like in previous years. We are accepting submissions from our members in the following categories:

• Original short stories, articles, poems, travelogues, etc. 
  • Acceptable formats – MS word (doc. or docx), max limit of 4 pages, i.e., 2 sheets of paper]
  • For literary works in Bengali, please use Unicode Bengali font
  • Please do NOT submit photos of literary works

• Artworks/images/paintings/photographs, etc. 
  • Acceptable formats – pdf, jpeg or tiff
  • All submissions will be published in the magazine, but the best piece will be featured on the cover page.

All submissions for the magazine must be made to Cultural Secretaries by Sep 05, 2021.
We hope to share with you our plan and format of Durga Puja shortly. Meanwhile, please stay safe and healthy.

We strongly encourage all of our members to receive the covid-19 vaccine to minimize the risk of getting infected with covid-19. We’ll beat Covid-19 together!
